Sail Boat Home 내 집은 어디인가

Creative Development
Showing

All aboard!

Company Bad has been working on a new theatre piece for children (aged 4- 8) and families titled Sail Boat Home 내 집은 어디인가.

Two Bobusang (traditional merchants) re-visit the highs and lows of their adventures at sea - from magical islands to wild storms. They honour and overcome the past, contemplate where “home” is, and fearlessly set sail towards the horizon.

Led my Younghee Park, the work features multilingual storytelling, live music, and play.

We’d love to invite you to a work-in-progress showing.

PLEASE NOTE

Younghee Park is currently completing her PhD at QUT, researching approaches to multilingual theatre-making for young audiences to enhance social inclusion and cultural diversity. At the end of the showing, artists will encourage children in the audience to reflect on their experience of the work through conversations, play, and drawing. This will be documented and used as anonymous research data. Participation in the research is optional, and children are welcome at the showing regardless of whether they choose to participate in the research component. Please let us know if you plan to bring children to the showing, so we can send you more information.
